The speciality of Paolos Pizza Bar is the pizza made with a traditional recipe which can be traced back to 1870. It is more than a coincidence that Paolo shares his surname with the first pizzaiolo, Raffaele Esposito who famously created the Margherita Pizza for the Queen of Italy. This pizza set the standard by which modern pizza evolved as well as firmly establishing Naples as the pizza capital of the world.The particularity of Paolos Pizza Bar is in the simplicity of the cooking of his pizza and pasta in which he follows a traditional Neapolitan method. An essential ingredient commences with a pure base of quality pasta and pizza dough which Paolo makes by hand daily. Paolo has been in the hospitality industry since the age of 14 and like most Italian people has a passion for pizza and pasta. Paolo now brings a touch of Naples to the Heart of Hervey Bay. |
